If you know of any luxury pet friendly hotels, especially either in the United States, I would be forever grateful. My pet can be a handful when they are left on their own for more than a few days! Thnx.

I am pretty certain all Starwood hotels now have pet friendly rooms, and, I also was allowed my dog at the Four Seasons in Las Vegas, I also believe all Four Seasons may have pet friendly facilities.

Yes, the Four Seasons hotels are very pet friendly. They often have Pet Menus and dog walking services. I've looked at the Pet-friendly menus and while I admit that I'm not an expert, the food sounds more like human food that pets love to eat, rather than nutritious pet food. So, I would advise bringing the food that your pet is used to.

Though not all Four Seasons have pet friendly facilities. No domesticated animals are allowed at the new Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle for obvious safety reasons.

I've had luck with Four Seasons, Loews, Starwoods, the Sanctuary at Camelback, L'Auberge de Sedona, Fairmounts and some Ritz Carltons. Where are you planning to travel to? I think that some locations tend to be more pet friendly then others.

Luckily for all of you (and your pets) a new website is in the process of being created to address exactly this question. Check out www.petfriendlyaccommodationsworldwide.com (PAW). The website specializes in luxury, pet-friendly accommodations with a rating of 4 stars or above. The site is currently under construction, but please check back soon and often. It should be up and running by the end of March 2008. If in the meantime you have a destination already in mind, feel free to email me at janine@petfriendlyaccommodationsworldwide.com and I'd be happy to send you the names of the luxury pet friendly hotels in the area you're headed to.
