Rose, I hope you are not disappointed with the restaurants in Cabo san Lucas. They are really hit or miss and since it is a destination that is so accessible to low-budget travelers a lot of the nicer restaurants have faded. The two times I have been to Cabo I have stayed at the Esperanza Hotel and it has been fantastic and the restaurant there is really above par. The sea views are amazing and the food is excellent. You can dine outside under a thatched terrace and they usually have live music which varies every evening. It is very calm and romantic. I do not think the restaurant at the hotel as a name of its own but I highly recommend dining there. My favorite dish is the Mar y Montana... You should try it!
