Where to stay in Fira/Santorini and Old Town Rhodes/Rhodes?

    Any great suggestions out there for a suite/apartment/cave house stay high up in Fira with views, steps, cliffs and all???
    Also has anyone stayed at the Nikos Takis Hotel in old Town Rhodes? Would you recommend it?
    We are trying to go in June and we are looking for good information.

    I would NOT particularly recommend the Volcano View Villas. The view is lovely, as is the pool and the restaurant. However, the rooms leave something to be desired and are always slightly damp. I got a weird vibe from some of the workers also.
