    So, in the works for me is a trip to the Los Angeles, CA area. I haven't been before, and I want to make this a very memorable experience! I am staying with an actress friend of mine so I don't need hotel advice, but great sights?? And even some fancy restaurants?? Or simply anything else I need to know before going to California. Please help my experience be enjoyable! (:

    L.A. has a bit of everything for every visitor. What would you be looking for in particular? Surf & sand? Visiting a movie studio or TV taping? Star sightings? Nightlife & clubbing? High-end dining? Low-end dining (our ethnic and hole-in-the wall restaurants are our forte, in my opinion)? Museums? Opera? L.A. has all of that.

    The weather will be great (most likely). The vibe is usually casual. Enjoy our fair city! Oh, and definitely have a car - L.A. is huge!
