Random Adults Only Resorts and Hotels

I am collecting information for a book I'm hoping to write for people who
like to have real peace and quiet on a vacation. That is, free of the noise of
little children; working title: "No Kiddding".

I would be interested in venues which are totally for adults only, ones with
age limits like 12 and older and so on or, others which offer childfree months
or areas; for example large properties with several pools and dining rooms
which reserve one for adults only. A good example is the Disney Cruise
Line. While they cater to families with children, they also offer an
adults only pool, dining room and a portion of their private beach is
reserved for adults only.

I am interested in locations world wide, not just in the US. I know that most
B&B's in New England have various age limits. I am also interested in all
price points.

There are so many articles, features and books about traveling with
children but I have not been able to find one article or book listing venues
which are for adults only or have age limits.
