Amsterdam: Luxury Hotels
  • My wife and I are in the process of planning a trip to Amsterdam. We're interested in staying in a top-of-the-line luxury hotel there. We would also consider staying in a fine, small boutique hotel. Does anybody have any suggestions as to which hotels we might look into?
  • Hotel Pulitzer. Get a canal-view room on the top floor...

Virtuoso amenities include daily full breakfast for two daily at the BAR.
  • Try the Dylan ,perfect small boutique hotel not part of a huge chain.Fantastic service ,great rooms (designed by Anouska Hempel) and in a central but quiet location .Had many happy stays there !!
  • if you are looking for a VERY small hotel than try the 717- great location, nice rooms and very private
The Dylan is, indeed, beautiful and a fantastic place- I love the inner court to hang out with a nice cup of tea
  • The Pulitzer I second
Very luxury are the Amstel and the Grand and the Amrath
  • I also agree that the Dylan is probably the best accommodation in Amsterdam. I have stayed at the Hotel Pulitzer twice and although it was a very nice stay without complaint it does not compare to the Dylan in design or service.

If you decide to stay at the Dylan you must book the Manhattan suite, it is one of my favorite rooms in the world and is so comfortable just to be in, making you not want to leave.

    Have a good trip!
  • The Amstel, although it is a bit far off from the center
