Family Trip (not looking for ordinary; surprise celebration for special occasion; sizable budget)
(wife & kids [ages 6 & 7]), my wife's sister's family (2 adults, 4 kids [ages 12-17]), and their parents - 6 adults and 6 kids total.
Anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks.
We have an 8 BR house in Rio where we might stay for some of the trip, though we could be interested in other weekend accommodations [if the right ones]. I was thinking a mini tour including multiple destinations (we're in NY) perhaps to Miami, Barbados, then Sao Paolo / Rio. Tourist-tailored tours will not be suitable as half of the family is very familiar with the area.
Simply looking for suggestions for out of the ordinary, luxurious ideas.
Hello are you seeking any suggestions for the trip to Barbados? I've posted a little challenge to my fellow Barbadians to see what they could come up with to give you a dream vacation on the isle.
A simple idea in Sao Paolo is to try the "World's Best Chocolate Cake." That's actually the name of the bakery, translated from Portuguese of course. It's very different than any chocolate cake I'd had prior. As far as being the best? You can be the judge.
A more involved idea is to visit the Jaguar Research Center. A co-worker just returned and said that they found wild jaguars.
