I've always thought that most hotels could do a better job at reporting your bill when you're ready to check out. Stay at a hotel for a week and you bill ends up being 3 pages long.

I figured that was just par for the course until I stayed five days at the Four Seasons George V in Paris. Take a look at how simple the bill was:

(I'm not 100% sure if it's ok to post the rates on the web, so I've I've blurred out the specifics, including my name and such.)

You can see how easy it was to understand after almost a week-long stay. Instead of putting an extra line item for each tax each day, they tally all of the tax up at the bottom-left of the page and then incude it into the rate each night. It also helps that that they make everything add up to round numbers. It was almost a pleasure to pay.
