Christmas in Rovaniemi, Lapland

    This Christmas we are going to celebrate Christmas in Rovaniemi right at the Arctic Circle. It's where Santa lives all year round www.santaclausvillage.info/eng/main.htm. We booked a little cabin with sauna (Ounasvaaran Pirtit) and we fly with KLM to Helsinki and Blue1 takes us to Rovaniemi. Does anyone have tips for me where to go to dinner and who has the best trips with husky's etc.?

    You should be careful about the lure of santa's village. Inghams Travel in the UK had a PR issue due to one client's poor experience visiting the village. The experience is documented in this person's open letter

    I could be wrong, but I'm not certain that all of the complaints were due to Ingham. Many of the complaints look like issues with the way the village was run. Hopefully you've done your research and know what you're getting into.

    Thanks for your message. I have done my research and the place where we are going is highly rated in all user reviews. Hopefully they have the same standards as we Extravigator travellers:-)! I will let you know.
