I'm driving from San Francisco to Portland, OR in a month and want to know of any "must stop" places that anyone recommends? Wineries, B&Bs, anything... What have you loved?

Are you going on the coastal route? or the inland route? I only know the coastal route well.
Santa Rosa might be too close to San Francisco, so if you don't stop there for the night, I recommend at least eating a meal at the Vinters Inn. The food there is some of the best in that region. And, if you do stop there for the night, the rooms are also very nice. Highly recommended.
There's also the Carter House Inn in Eureka, CA, which is not quite at the same level as the Vinters Inn, but still worth a stop. It's won a lot of awards for its wine and food.
I won't get into wineries because I'm not much of a connoisseur. I'm afraid my suggestions would just mislead you.
But, if there was one place I would recommend it would have to be the "Tu Tu' Tun Lodge" in Gold Beach, Oregon, right on the North bank of the Rogue River. The views of the river are absolutely stunning. The rates are also reasonable and it's really one of the best places to stay on the entire West Coast. Try not to go during the winter season because I believe the restaurant is closed the whole time. That would be a shame because the food is definitely one of the highlights.
If I think of anything else, I'll let you know.
